Ukrposhta completed the payment of over UAH 9.5 billion of pensions for June. In regions where hostilities are not taking place, Ukrposhta has paid more than 97% of pensions. We are talking about all regions except Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Luhansk, Donetsk, Mykolaiv and Kherson. Pension payments in Kharkiv region for June amounted to 61%, in Mykolaiv region – 55%, in Zaporizhzhia region – 85%, in Donetsk region – 37%.

Due to the occupation and active hostilities, it is not yet possible to fully organize a safe delivery of cash in Donetsk and Luhansk regions. Pensions are paid out there only if the current situation allows for the safe delivery and distribution of money. In June, Ukrposhta provided pensions to more than 2 million pensioners. 315,000 of them ordered the redirection of funds to other settlements, where people temporarily evacuated.

If the pension has not been paid due to occupation, active hostilities or other reasons, these funds will be credited together with the July payments. Ukrposhta ensures the delivery and issuance of cash to Ukrainian pensioners throughout the war. Due to the work of stationary offices, which were open all the time even in the regions under temporary occupation, and mobile offices that provide postal services in the villages, Ukrainians from the front-line regions, as well as regions with active hostilities have access to basic financial and postal services.
