About

Postal wrapper is a postal item that contains printed products, documents, books, notebooks, photographs, correspondence, literature etc. Postal wrapper is packed in envelopes, folders, boxes, craft paper, polyethylene etc.

Sizes:

• maximum: 600 mm in one dimension (the sum of length, width and thickness should not exceed 900 mm);
• for rolled pipe (rolls) — 700 mm in length and 150 mm in diameter.

Weight: up to 3 kg (within Ukraine), up to 5 kg (international).

Kinds of postal wrappers

• Regular postal wrapper

  It is sent in a regular order and does not have a tracking number.

  How to order: put the parcel with the relevant postage stamps into the mailbox (if it matches the size) or give it to post office employee. You can buy packaging in the post office.

  We deliver regular postal wrappers to the specified address, and the postman leaves a parcel in the mailbox (if the size of the parcel is bigger, you can collect it from the post office).

• Registered postal wrapper

  It is sent by custom order by air or surface and has a tracking number.

  How to order: give it to post office employee and after payment receive a payment document (check) with a tracking number.

  You can track a post wrapper on the Ukrposta website, in the mobile application or via chat bots in Messenger, Viber and Telegram.

  We deliver registered postal wrappers personally to the addressee or by letter of attorney (delivery to the the post office). Address delivery is possible for an extra tariff.

• Postal wrapper with declared value (international delivery outside Ukraine)

  The sender indicates the declared value of the postal wrapper, and it would be partially or fully compensated by Ukrposhta in case of loss. These postal wrappers also have a tracking number.

  How to order: give the letter to post office employee, indicate the declared value, make a payment and receive a payment document (check), which contains the track number of the item.

  We will let you know when the item is delivered

• Delivery notification

  Fill out the form CN07 to order this notification, and we will inform you when the item was delivered and to whom (the addressee or authorized person). This notification returns to sender as a simple letter. You can also add the "Personallly only" tag. Service is available for Ukraine and for countries defined by the Guidelines for receiving international mail

• Courier delivery

  We will deliver the letter to the address immediately after it arrives at the post office. Service is available for Ukraine and for countries defined by the Guidelines for receiving international mail

How to order

It is important to sign the postal wrapper in legible handwriting.

To: write the address of the recipient in the bottom right part of the postal wrapper.

Specify the name, surname of the addressee, street, house and apartment number, name of place, district and region (in the language of the country of destination), postal code, country (in Ukrainian).

On the international Postal wrapper the name of the addressee and his mailing address should be written in Latin letters and Arabic numerals. If the postal address is written in the language of the country of destination, the name of the settlement and country of destination should be repeated in Ukrainian (in capital letters).

From: the address of the sender write in the upper left part of the postal wrapper.

Specify the name, surname of the sender, street, house and apartment number, district, region and town/city (in the language of the country of departure), zip code, location and country (duplicate in Latin letters).
