Ukrposhta’s International Delivery: Trusted Worldwide for Quality and Reliability

06.11.2025

Ukrposhta has taken the lead in operational monitoring that measures the timeliness of delivery of international postal items sent to Ukraine.

The results, based on data from the Universal Postal Union (UPU), were presented by PostEurop operations team, the Association of European Public Postal Operators, during its performance and operational meeting in Luxembourg.

The study compared the performance of 23 European postal operators in 7 months of 2025: on-time delivery of 100% of incoming international postal items.

Ukrposhta demonstrated outstanding results across key categories:

  • International Express Delivery (EMS): A quality score of 99.89%, the highest among all 23 participating posts — a testament to the reliability and consistency of Ukrposhta’s express services.
  • Priority Processing and Tracking (Prime Exprès and Prime Tracked): Achieved 100% in processing and data transmission, outperforming 20 and 8 posts respectively.
  • UPU Tracked Delivery: Ranked 5th out of 11 with a score of 97%, confirming a high level of transparency in international logistics.

Over the past few years, Ukrposhta has systematically modernized its logistics processes, expanded international cooperation channels, and implemented digital solutions to better integrate with global postal networks.

Thanks to these efforts, even under challenging conditions (including wartime disruptions and closed airports) Ukrposhta continues to deliver competitive speed and tracking performance for international postal items.

“These quality indicators reflect the daily work of our team to improve international delivery. We are grateful to our customers for trusting us with their cross-border shipments. Back in 2019, when the government transferred EMS delivery rights from the State Service of Special Communications and Information Protection of Ukraine to Ukrposhta, Ukraine ranked a ‘respectable’ 146th in the world among postal operators. Today, Ukrposhta is among the global top performers,” — said Igor Smelyansky, CEO of JSC Ukrposhta.

PostEurop is the trade association that has been representing European postal operators since 1993. It is an officially recognised Regional Union of the Universal Postal Union (UPU).
