Ukrposhta has become a partner of the Lazar Charitable Foundation in a project to collect mobile phones for elderly people living in the territories liberated from the occupiers.

Another item was added to the list of outrages of the Russian occupiers: Russian marauders, retreating, tried to steal everything they could get their hands on. They did not even hesitate to take away mobile phones from the elderly. Therefore, now many people, mostly elderly, who live in the territories liberated by the Ukrainian Armed Forces, are left without means of communication. To give them the opportunity to contact their relatives, the charitable foundation "Lazar" together with Ukrposhta organized a collection of mobile phones.

As part of the campaign " Connection of Hope", it is planned to collect mobile phones - new or used. The collection will be held in Ukrposhta offices across the country. Any volunteers can join the campaign and donate their old mobile phones for the elderly people in need of communication from the settlements of Kyiv, Chernihiv, Sumy regions.

To transfer the phone, you need to:

• visit any branch of Ukrposhta;
• to arrange for the phone to be sent by post, be sure to indicate that the phone is sent within the framework of the " Connection of Hope" campaign to the address: Lazar Foundation, 6 Pamvy Beryndy lane, Kyiv, Ukraine, 01015 tel. +38 044 390 67 71;
• pay for postage according to postal tariffs.

Shipments will be delivered at the "Ukrposhta Standard" tariff.

Important:

• the phone must be in working condition (push-button phones are also suitable);
• there must be a charger for this phone;
• serviceable battery.

Ukrposhta will deliver all sent phones to the address of the Charitable Foundation "Lazar". After that, the Foundation will organize the delivery of mobile phones to cities and villages of these regions for those people who really need them.

Free start packages for the phones collected in the framework of the " Connection of Hope" campaign will be provided by one of the Ukrainian mobile operators.
