On December 19, Ukrposhta solemnly opens the doors of the New Year's postal residence and invites guests to the main post office in Kyiv and post offices in the regions to feel the approach and festive atmosphere of Christmas and New Year together with a friendly family circle. All central offices of regional centers, where the security situation allows, will have New Year's residence zones on December 19 and until the end of the year on weekends*.
Despite all the difficulties and losses, tragic events, anxieties and blackouts that Ukrainians have suffered this year, we cannot allow the vile enemy to deprive us of Christmas and New Year holidays and refuse the opportunity to remind ourselves: life goes on, truth and goodness will overcome lies and hatred, and Victory is already with us.
All guests of the New Year's postal residence will be able to:
- communicate with the New Year's Wizard and his assistants;
- take part in master classes, entertainment and activities;
- order gifts with free delivery from Ukrposhta;
- send a greeting card and drawings to the soldiers-defenders, which can be obtained free of charge at the post office;
- write a letter to the New Year's Wizard in a festive location, ask him to make your wishes come true and throw the letter into a magic mailbox. In order for the letter to get personally into the hands of the wizard, you need to buy an envelope, stick a postage stamp and send it to the address of the New Year's postal residence 01001, Kyiv-1, Khreshchatyk St., 22, having previously registered online;
- buy themed merchandise with the image of postage stamps (sweatshirts, hoodies, T-shirts, shopping bags, cups) and New Year's magnets, Christmas decorations, postcards, etc.
In addition, everyone can add even more atmospheric and festive mood to their letters, cards, postcards and parcels. Thus, from December 19, 2022, to January 14, 2023, special postal stamps "New Year's Postal Residence" will be valid in the Ukrposhta offices where the residences will be based. The stamp of Luhansk region is attached to the city of Kramatorsk (Donetsk region). Residents of Kyiv (01001), Ivano-Frankivsk (76018), Lviv (79000), Dnipro (49000) and Kharkiv (61052) will have an additional opportunity to use stamps with the transfer date "Merry Christmas! Happy New Year!". The Kyiv Main Post Office also has a special stamp with the transfer date "St. Nicholas Post" until December 31, 2022.
Ukrposhta is pleased to invite guests to support our traditions, concentrate wishes for 2023 and be sure to visit the New Year's postal residence.
Ukrposhta's partners - the production company "BIG HAND FILMS" - were responsible for creating a festive atmosphere.
