In November, Ukrposhta ensured the payment of one-time financial assistance to more than 2.7 thousand Ukrainians who left the combat zones by evacuation trains. The payments were made in Lviv, Khmelnytsky, Dnipropetrovsk and Ternopil regions.
For the first time in 7 months of the project, the largest number of payments was made to passengers travelling to Dnipro - UAH 2.14 million for almost a thousand people. In Lviv and Khmelnytskyi, UAH 1.8 million and UAH 1.6 million were paid respectively. In Ternopil region, where payments to passengers of evacuation trains were made for the first time, 260 people received money for a total amount of UAH 0.6 million.
Payment of one-time assistance is a project that Ukrposhta implements jointly with Ukrzaliznytsia and the Ministry of Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories of Ukraine.
Since May, Ukrposhta has paid such assistance in the amount of almost UAH 76 million, of which UAH 44.5 million were received by passengers of evacuation trains with a final destination in Lviv and more than UAH 21 million - with a final destination in Dnipro. The rest of the payments were made to Kirovohrad, Khmelnytsky and Ternopil regions.
