Ukrposhta puts into circulation a postage stamp "Kherson is Ukraine!"

On December 9, Ukrposhta will present the long-awaited postage stamp "Kherson is Ukraine!" dedicated to the liberated hero city. The "First Day" stamp will be valid on December 9 at the post offices in Kyiv and Kherson. Also, on Friday, December 9, at 10:00 a.m., the Kyiv Main Post Office will host an autograph session with the author of the issue, Ukrainian artist Andriy Sagach.

The circulation is 150,000 stamp sheets or 900,000 postage stamps. Almost 40% of the circulation was sold out in the first days by pre-order. The sale of stamps will be subject to restrictions. One customer can buy no more than 5 stamp sheets, 2 First Day envelopes, 10 envelopes and 10 postcards per order.

The nominal value of the U stamp is UAH 12 per stamp or UAH 72 for a sheet of 6 stamps. The stamp will be accompanied by a First Day envelope, an unmarked art envelope and two art cards.

The stamp issue "Kherson is Ukraine!" will be available for purchase starting December 09 at Ukrposhta offices across the country and on eBay and Amazon marketplaces.
In the philatelic online store of Ukrposhta and on Prom, Kasta and Rozetka, it will be possible to order only envelopes and postcards "Kherson is Ukraine!", magnets, as well as themed sweatshirts.

Customers who managed to pre-order the stamp with Kherson watermelon in Ukrposhta's official postal marketplace will be able to receive it starting December 9, immediately after the official launch of the sale. All holders of the online philatelic subscription will receive a link to purchase the stamp "Kherson is Ukraine".

The author of the issue is Andriy Sagach, a Ukrainian artist, winner of the national stage of the contest of sketches for the stamp "Peace is the highest value of mankind!", author of the envelope with the original stamp "Spring will come again!".
