The postal operator plans to equip with card payment terminals the existing automated offices, and it is 2641 urban and 3495 rural post offices and newly-automated offices, which will be re-equipped by the end of the year.

Already in October, 780 Verifone POS terminals will be installed in branches. More 920 terminals will be installed by the end of the year. So, Ukrposhta will have 9.7 thousand own POS terminals. Due to it, the company becomes the 4th in Ukraine provider of payment cards acceptance services by the quantity of POS terminals and the only company rendering financial services having its own terminals in villages.

Ukrposhta bought POS-terminal Verifone VX520 with PIN-pad Verifone РР1000SEv3 in the set at a price twice lower than the retail price. Open competitive procedures in the electronic system Prozorro and stable partnership with strategic suppliers make it possible to achieve such results.

At the beginning of September, the company has 8 thousand of its own POS terminals. Ukrposhta customers can use them for cashless payment of services, as well as for card replenishment or cash withdrawal. Also in the first quarter of 2023, it is planned to buy more than 4 thousand terminals, with which mobile branches of Ukrposhta will be equipped.
