Despite the fact that August is traditionally the month of the lowest activity, Ukrposhta processed 1.44 million acquiring operations for the month. This is only 2% more than the same figure for July 2022. However, it should be noted that August figures do not include Kherson, Luhansk, and parts of Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions, where the postal operator is temporarily unable to provide non-cash services.

The number of transactions by cards for goods and services increased by 5.3%. The increase in the amount in August was 5.4%.

The number of transactions per 1 POS-terminals increased significantly: from 126 in July to 218 in August. Ukrposhta is 7th in Ukraine by the number of POS terminals with 8.000 own POS terminals. In 2022 it is planned to install additional terminals in all rural and urban automated post offices. The first lot of 780 terminals will be installed by the end of October. The second in the number of 920 POS - by the end of the year.
