26.08.2022

Now you can buy postcards from the "Cities of Ukraine" series |"Cities of Ukraine" by Mykolaiv-based illustrator Anna Maksymenko in all Ukrposhta city post offices.

The postcards depict famous images and symbols of Ukrainian cities: Kharkiv, Mykolaiv, Odesa, Lviv, Dnipro and Kyiv, as well as the postcard "Ukraine", on which you can find the most famous symbols of all these cities.

"Since the beginning of the war, Ukrposhta has not only fulfilled its immediate functions, such as delivering pensions and dispatching shipments, we are also looking to support Ukrainians, especially those who have left their hometowns because of the war. These postcards are news from your hometown of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, or Dnipro to Ukrainians who are now abroad. And a good reminder to everyone else how beautiful Ukrainian cities are and how they will be after the victory", - commented the General Director of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky.

Postcards are released in 1,4 million copies. You can also buy them at the Internet-shop of Ukrposhta.

All proceeds from the sale of postcards, illustrator Anna Maksmenko will go to the needs of the AFU.

The seven postcards are a project to create a series of illustrations of Ukrainian cities, which the author presented before the war. The postcards preserve the beauty of Ukrainian cities, as they looked before the war. The sculpture of the mythical rider, Cossack Hark, the outlines of Annunciation Cathedral and Mirror Stream, as well as the colorful trempel on the postcard bring your thoughts back to the prewar Kharkiv. Through the Alley of Admirals, bridges and ships on the postcard you can guess Mykolaiv. And the Menorah Hotel and rockets from the Innovation Park convey the atmosphere of the still peaceful Dnipro City.

Postcards with Ukrainian cities can be purchased by all Ukrainians as a keepsake or to congratulate their loved ones in Ukraine or abroad.
