In July 4.5 thousand Ukrainians evacuated from the war zone received money from the government through Ukrposhta. The postal operator paid 10.4 million UAH for passengers on evacuation trains from Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhya. Payments were made at the premises of railway stations in Lviv, Dnipro, Oleksandria and Kropivnitskyi. Almost 70% of all payments for July were made in Lviv.

Temporary mini-offices, which Ukrposhta set up in May in the premises of central railway stations of the cities where Ukrainians from the East and South of Ukraine are most evacuated, work within the framework of a joint project with Ukrzaliznytsia, the President's Office, the Ministry of Infrastructure, the Ministry of Social Policy and the Ministry of Digital Transformation. Until the arrival of the next evacuation train, Ukrposhta organizes the disbursement of funds according to the information generated during the flight by Ukrzaliznytsia employees. Since the beginning of the project Ukrposhta employees have received passengers on 155 trains.

Within the framework of the initiative Ukrposhta has already paid out about 30 million hryvnias of money to more than 12 thousand passengers of evacuation trains.
