Ukrposhta opens voting for the best sketch for the postage stamp “Peace is the highest value of humanity!

Voting for the best sketch for a postage stamp under the “Europe” program “Peace is the highest value of humanity!”, as part of the national stage, will take place from July 15 to 20.
Ukrposhta chose 5 finalists of the national stage of the PostEurop competition from 333 candidates.

Voting will take place on the official pages of Ukrposhta in social networks on Facebook, Instagram and Telegram.

The winner will be announced on July 22, and the one that will receive the most votes at the national stage will be sent by Ukrposhta to PostEurop for participation in the European stage of the competition.

In order to participate in the national stage of the competition, illustrators, artists, designers sent their works to Ukrposhta during July 1-8.

It should be noted that the theme of the annual competition for the best European-2023 stamp was changed to “Peace is the highest value of humanity!” on the initiative of Ukrposhta. All postal administrations of European countries will issue postage stamps on this theme next year with a single winning design.

Previously, Ukrainian stamps were awarded the PostEurop competition. In 2019, Ukrainian stamps on the theme “Birds”: Stamps “White Stork” and “Nightingale Oriental”, by Natalia Kohal won gold in the competition “The best stamp in Europe - the choice of a collector 2019”.

In 2020, the Ukrainian stamp “Postman Fedir Feket” by Iryna Medvedovska on the theme “Ancient postal routes” won silver in the competition “Best stamps of Europe 2020 - jury’s choice”.

And in 2021, the “Cry of the Carpathians” stamp won a bronze award in this competition.
