In June, Ukrposhta paid UAH 10.9 million to 4,700 passengers of evacuation trains from Zaporizhzhia and Pokrovsk. Payments are made in the premises of the central railway stations of Dnipro and Lviv, where, with the assistance of Ukrzaliznytsia, Ukrposhta has set up temporary mini-post offices.

40% of payments are paid to passengers in Dnipro. This is an intermediate station for trains from Pokrovsk, and some Ukrainians evacuating from hot spots get off at this station.
In total, since the start of the project in June, Ukrposhta has paid UAH 18,909,000 of such assistance to 8,174 citizens of Ukraine. Every day, in the mini-post offices of Ukrposhta at the train stations, employees of the postal operator serve passengers of three trains, that is about 450 people who need to receive prompt issuance of state financial assistance.

We remind that payment of funds to passengers of evacuation trains is a joint project of the Office of the President, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrposhta and Ukrzaliznytsia. Information on the payment of monetary assistance is generated by railway workers directly during the movement of evacuation trains, stating the number of children and adults. These data are further transferred to Ukrposhta employees, who organize payment before the evacuation train arrives at the station of the destination city, so that people can receive funds immediately after leaving the train.
