In May Ukrposhta issued 7.4 million UAH for almost 3.2 thousand Ukrainians, who left by evacuation trains of Ukrzaliznytsia from Pokrovsk and Zaporizhzhya to Dnipro and Lviv. All funds were issued by employees of post offices, equipped on the territory of the central railway stations of Lviv and Dnipro.

"Ukrposhta implements several projects in parallel to disburse financial aid to internally displaced persons. The state chooses exactly Ukrposhta for this task, because we can ensure fast delivery and disbursement of cash. Thanks to the coordinated work of Ukrposhta and Ukrzaliznytsia employees before people get off the train, lists and cash are already ready to disburse money as quickly as possible," commented Igor Smelyansky, Director General of Ukrposhta.

Please be noted that the payment of funds to passengers of evacuation trains is a joint project of the Office of the President, the Ministry of Digital Transformation, the Ministry of Social Policy, the Ministry of Infrastructure, Ukrposhta and Ukrzaliznytsia. Data on payment of financial aid is formed by railroad workers directly during evacuation trains, where they have to indicate the number of children and adults. These data are transmitted to Ukrposhta workers, who by the time the evacuation train arrives at the station of the destination city, organize everything necessary so that people can receive funds immediately after leaving the train.
