On March 23, Ukrposhta delivered 32 tons of humanitarian aid from the United States. The Airbus A330 of Ukrposhta's partner WindRose Airlines carries medical supplies and basic necessities worth about $5 million.

This is the third plane with the humanitarian aid, which Ukrposhta is delivering to Ukraine from the USA via Poland at its own expense. Another plane with humanitarian aid is expected at the end of the week on March 26. Overall, since the start of the war, the postal operator, together with its partners, has organized and paid for the delivery of 85 tons of humanitarian aid from the United States.

"Thanks to the fact that Ukrposhta very quickly resumed export shipments abroad, in particular the charter program with WindRose, it became possible to systematically deliver humanitarian goods from the United States. The value of these deliveries is that these are medicines, which are always in severe shortage and what we in Ukrposhta receive a constant order from volunteers and local authorities. I thank our partners for finding financial, human and time resources, and most importantly, the desire to help the Ukrainian people", - commented the General Director of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky.

Medical supplies are delivered to the Military Medical Center of Western Region, National Special-Purpose Paediatric Hospital "Ohmatdyt", emergency hospitals in Mykolayiv and other establishments.
