Ukrposhta delivered to Ukraine the first 20 tons of humanitarian aid from Greece

Ukrposhta has responded to the proposal and cooperates as well as other logistic companies with Volunteer Center in Greece on humanitarian and medical assistance to Ukraine, created with the support of Ukrainian diaspora and the Embassy of Ukraine in Greece. The company delivered a shipment of medicine, food, warm clothing, blankets and more to Lviv.

Ukrposhta will deliver humanitarian aid to regions where the most difficult situation with food and goods is now: Kharkiv, Sumy, Mykolayiv, Chernihiv.

"We are grateful to Greeks and our diaspora in this country for their support. Ukrainians, especially from Kharkov, Mykolaiv, Sumy, now need the most necessary things - medicine, food, clothes. The 20 tons of cargo received today is already the second truck which arrives to the sorting center of Ukrposhta from Greece. Aid will be delivered to the cities with difficult situation with supply - Mykolaiv and Kharkiv, where our 19 branches work on the delivery of the humanitarian aid. In Sumy and Chernihiv the situation with the delivery is complicated, but we will do our best to ensure that the humanitarian aid is delivered to everyone who needs it now", - said the General Director of Ukrposhta Igor Smelyansky.

As previously reported, Ukrposhta delivered 24 tons of humanitarian aid to Ukraine from the USA.
