Ukrposhta announced an All-Ukrainian popular competition for the development of the sketch of the postage stamp "Russian warship, fuck you!"

On March 1, on the 30th anniversary of the modern Ukrainian stamp, Ukrposhta announced an All-Ukrainian popular competition for the development of the sketch of the postage stamp "Russian warship, fuck you!

Ukrposhta will print the winning sketch in a special edition in the nearest future. The postal operator encourages both professional illustrators and amateurs and everyone who wishes to join the contest - to draw sketches and thus relieve psychological stress of living through the war.

"Philately always reacts very sensitively to significant events not only of the past, but also of the present. A week ago on this day we planned to recollect the best stamps in the 30-year history of Ukraine. And this list would have definitely included the "Peredova" and "Glory to Ukraine!" stamps. However, the aggressor country's attack on our peaceful cities, Russia's despicable start of the war and the crimes committed on our soil have made adjustments. The exploits of our military, in particular border guards, gave rise to new meanings of Ukrainian resistance. The phrase with which the Ukrainian border guards from Snake Island responded to the warship became the quintessence of the determination of Ukrainians to defend their land. And we at Ukrposhta would like to record this moment. The stamp will surely be international, so everyone will be able to send it to any country", - commented Igor Smelyansky, Director General of Ukrposhta.

Ukrainian illustrators, artists, designers are invited to participate in the contest, who are ready to reproduce the capacity and strength of the Ukrainian defenders of Snake Island with the help of artistic images in the sketch. Snake. The sketch is to be presented as a picture, graphic layout with the visualization in electronic form in jpeg format, 600 dpi. The number of works from one participant is unlimited.

The collection of sketches will last from March 1 to March 4, 2022, inclusive. All the works sent to the contest will be presented on the Facebook page of Ukrposhta (https://www.facebook.com/ukrposhta) for the people's vote.
