In August 49 new mobile post offices will operate in Zhytomyr, Sumy, and Poltava regions 02.08.2022

Ukrposhta continues updating provision of postal services in villages. From August, 49 new mobile post offices will operate in the villages of Zhytomyr, Sumy, and Poltava regions and will serve 160,000 Ukrainians.

In particular, additional 30 teams of mobile post offices will work in the Poltava region. They will cover 346 villages of Kremenchuk, Globin, Khorol, Kozelshchyna, Semenivskyi, and partly Velikobagachanskyi districts of Poltava region with a population of 98,000 inhabitants. In total, together with the new mobile offices, 98 postal cars are already operating in Poltava region.

Since August 2, 10 new mobile post offices have started operating in Zhytomyr region. They will provide postal services in 103 settlements for 37,000 villagers. In total, 77 mobile post offices are already operating in the Zhytomyr region.

From August 2, mobile offices will appear in the Shostka and Konotop districts of the Sumy region. 9 postal cars will serve 25,000 residents of 110 villages. These mobile offices were supposed to start work on February 24, but because of the war, the start was postponed to August. In total, 61 mobile post offices operate in Sumy region. Another 25 mobile offices are planned to be launched in September.

In total, since the beginning of the war, Ukrposhta has launched 469 mobile post offices. They provide a full range of postal services as well as stationary offices: delivery and issuance of pensions and social benefits, issuance of money orders, utility payments, sale of essential goods, delivery of parcels and periodicals.

In addition, Ukrposhta plans to automate mobile offices to provide Ukrainian villagers with access to basic financial services.
